Things to do at Taroko Trail Park

Runners can choose between the park’s popular 5km and 11km default routes, while walkers and hikers can opt for shorter, well-marked loops that showcase dams, birdlife, and uninterrupted natural views. The trails are non-technical, making them suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Cyclists are spoilt for choice at Taroko Trail Park, with a range of purpose-designed routes suited to every type of rider. The Blue Route (6km) offers a gentle introduction for children, beginners, or families seeking a fun outing, while the Orange (13km), Green (23km), and Yellow (34km) routes provide progressively more distance and challenge for confident riders.

New Fun Flow Lines are also on the way. If you don’t have your own bike, TRAILWOLF Cycles can assist with convenient rentals. Walkers and hikers can explore scenic loops such as the Dabchick, Jackal, Otter, Reedbuck, Zebra, and Guinea Fowl trails, each offering a different slice of the reserve’s natural charm. Trail runners are well catered for too, with designated 5km and 11km options. With diverse routes and a family-friendly environment, the park promises a full and rewarding day outdoors.
