Tems brings Her Born in the Wild Tour to Joburg in 2025

Joburg, get ready for an unforgettable one-night-only performance by Grammy Award-winning Afrobeats star Tems, who will take the stage in the city of gold in 2025. South Africans will get to hear the soulful vocals of this international sensation live at The Dome on 20 March 2025 for her Born in the Wild world tour.

What to expect from the Born in the Wild tour

The world tour is named after Tems’ most recent album, Born in the Wild which came out in June of 2024 and has already produced some beloved hits across the world, earning her a Best Global Music Grammy nomination. The album contains popular tracks ‘Love me JeJe’ and ‘Burning’, both of which have also earned her Grammy nominations making a total of three from this album.

Presented by Big Concerts, this tour stop will be filled with some of these album favourites, sung in Tems’ signature effortlessly smooth style at a brand-new The Dome venue which is set to open in early 2025.

The Nigerian singer-songwriter is known for her silky-smooth vocals, emotive lyrics, and her unique blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and neo-soul. She broke out to global music success with her feature on fellow Nigerian star Wizkid’s wildly popular ‘Essence’ in 2020.

Since then, she has claimed individual success with a total of 11 Grammy nominations and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music game, including Future, Drake, J. Cole, and Beyoncé.

Her musical arsenal features hits outside of her recent album including ‘WAIT FOR U’ which was a collaboration between herself, Drake and Future, ‘Free Mind’ and ‘ME & U’.
