The retreat features a communal wood-fired hot tub, perfectly placed to give you the best view in all of Rosendal! The tub takes about 3 hours to heat up, and during busy weekends time slots are allocated to make sure everyone gets a chance to enjoy it. Time slots are available after 2 pm, and if you need a special time do let the team know. There’s a R200 charge per session to help us manage this.

Hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and tennis experiences can also be booked.

The Rosendal town itself has a few galleries, quirky little shops, and cafes, so you can wander around or just sit back and enjoy the peaceful scenery. It’s the ideal place for anyone wanting to step back, slow down, and enjoy the simple beauty of the Free State.

The Rosendal is also home to an air-filled wedding venue. This is the ideal spot for your dream wedding, with accommodation for up to 44 guests and gorgeous event spaces. An elegant sandstone chapel that seats up to 120 guests and a spacious lounge for canapés are available.

There are two reception venues to choose from: a ballroom that fits up to 120 and a gallery space for up to 80. And for stunning gardens photo ops? They’ll give you the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos. Gather your loved ones and make it a fun-filled wedding weekend.
