The new IMAX Laser screen, which is only the second one to be installed in South Africa (the first being in Cape Town), comes in at a whopping 17 metres wide and 9.7 metres high. The cinema itself features 285 seats configured to optimise seat-to-screen ratios, creating an experience that completely immerses audiences in the movie.

The experience is set apart by a ground-breaking 4k laser projection system that features a new optical engine, custom designed lenses, and a suite of proprietary technology that delivers brighter images with increased resolution, deeper contrast, and the widest range of colours exclusively to IMAX screens.

The format delivers ultra-bright, crystal-clear visuals, deeper blacks and heightened contrast, bringing a new level of detail to each and every scene. Plus, a precision-tuned, multi-channel sound system ensures that every layer of audio carries weight and clarity.
