2027’s concert schedule begins with the ultimate homecoming as 2x Grammy-winning South African superstar Tyla returns, bringing her A*POP World Tour to Joburg, presented locally by Showtime Management and Anything Goes.
On 9 January 2027, the BET Award-winning pop star takes over the Johannesburg Expo Centre to thrill fans with her second local tour since her 2024 homecoming.

Tyla has emerged as one of South Africa’s most successful and celebrated artists ever since her 2023 smash hit ‘Water’, which earned her a Grammy for Best African Music Performance in 2024, garnered critical acclaim and cemented her as a global superstar.
Since then, she’s released more hit singles, establishing herself as one of Africa’s fastest-rising stars. Over the years, she’s been renowned for her captivating performances, infectious energy, and stylish stage presence, continuing to win fans globally while proudly showcasing South African talent.
Tyla’s A*POP World Tour is in support of her recently released and highly praised sophomore studio album, A*POP. The 14-track album features hits ‘Chanel’, ‘Is It Love’ and ‘Fairytale’ (featuring Liquideep).
The A*POP World Tour marks the SAMA-award winners’ first full headline tour across North America, Europe, the UK, and Africa.
The 34-date global tour kicks off on Monday, October 12, in Paris and makes stops across Europe and the UK, including Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Stockholm, and more. The North American leg begins on Thursday, November 12, at Hard Rock Live in Wheatland, CA, moves across North America and wraps up on Saturday, December 19, at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Tyla then heads to Africa for select performances in Lagos in December, culminating in a return home for two shows, one in Cape Town and the other in Joburg.
From dream-filled beginnings, Tyla has become one of the greatest success stories to come out of South Africa, continuing to dominate not only the South African music scene but also globally, and fans are sure to expect an incredible performance from South Africa’s favourite niece.
