What’s in store for The Jungle Book’s return
Audiences can expect a fully immersive theatrical experience before the performance even begins. The foyer is transformed into a jungle wonderland, draped in vines and lush greenery, immediately transporting you into Mowgli’s world.
The bold, urban-inspired set and costume design merge with dynamic choreography and a pulsing original score to deliver a fresh, contemporary take on this classic tale of found family, friendship and identity.
With its high production values, inventive storytelling, and a strong emotional core, The Jungle Book promises a family-friendly theatrical adventure that is as thoughtful as it is entertaining – a must-see for those looking to experience this well-loved tale in a bold new way.

A refreshing and immersive take on this classic tale
The Jungle Book embraces a stylised and refreshingly modern aesthetic while remaining faithful to the heart of the original story. Adapted and directed by Daniel Butcher-Geddes, with an original score by Wessel Odendaal, this 75-minute family-friendly show is designed to enchant audiences aged four and up.
Set deep in the heart of the jungle, it follows young Mowgli’s journey of self-discovery, friendship, and courage. Alongside iconic characters like Bagheera, Baloo, and the fearsome Shere Khan, Mowgli learns what it means to find his place in the world.
Led by Daniel Butcher-Geddes’ direction and Wessel Odendaal’s score and musical direction, the production team also includes Ashleigh Butcher-Geddes on wardrobe, Estian Gericke on scenic design, and Lee Brune and sound design.
