Revamped Garden Bar and Restaurant

Having opened in mid-September, The Peech’s new Garden Bar is perfectly designed to cater to guests from the early morning straight into a calm late evening.

Be it freshly brewed coffee and cold-pressed juices at the start of the day, or sundowners, house-curated cocktails and a selection of South African wines and spirits as the sun drops, the bar is a fun and welcoming space where hotel guests can unwind, sip and enjoy the hotel’s lush garden.

Beyond the drinks, the Garden Restaurant, reserved for hotel guests, features a revamped summer menu that remains relaxed and seasonal, with contemporary classics and produce-led dishes designed for easy breakfasts, leisurely lunches and uncomplicated dinners overlooking the gardens. Created by Chef Ebie du Toit, the menu features new dishes for the season, including grilled Wagyu fillet and West Coast lobster pasta.

The Pot Luck Club Summer Menu

The Pot Luck Club Johannesburg is one of The Peech’s best offerings, being an award-winning restaurant that won Hotel Restaurant of the Year at the 2026 LUXE Restaurant Awards.

The restaurant has a new summer menu, and despite the change, it still retains the dining spot’s signature approach to globally inspired small plates that pack a flavour punch, designed for sharing.

The seasonal dishes include the succulent Squid with Fragrant Herb Salad, Vermicelli and Passionfruit Nuoc Cham, Szechuan Fried Chicken with Salt & Pepper crust, and Smashed Cucumber Salad served with Miso & Tofu Emulsion. There’s also Single Origin Cheese, and dessert lovers can look forward to the new Raspberry Sorbet with Goat’s Cheese Mousse.

If you’re looking to experience The Peech in its entirety, from the luxurious dining to elegant hotels, The Peech is also offering a Summer Stay & Dine experience from 1 September to 31 December 2026, available from Thursday to Saturday.

The experience includes one night in a Classic or Luxury Room, bubbles on arrival, a pre-dinner cocktail, dinner at The Pot Luck Club Johannesburg with the Prix Fixe Loaded Menu, a surprise gesture from The Pot Luck Club team, and a full à la carte breakfast the following morning.
