What’s on at the KAMERS/Makers Spring/Summer show?
This spring and summer, the KAMERS/Makers market returns to Pretoria, allowing guests to shop bold fashion, inspired homeware, original gifting, and artisanal food, all in an open-air setting buzzing with energy, music and design, making this SA’s biggest, brightest and best array of proudly local artisan talent.
From fashion to footwear, skincare to ceramics, craft gin to jewellery, plus decor, accessories, deli delights and much more, you’ll be amazed by the variety and world-class quality being produced right here at home.
Explore the best of local art with the KM ART initiative
The KM ART initiative was initially launched in one of market’s hosted in Sandton, and it’s coming back this spring.
The KM ART component of the show has already grown enormously in the Cape. Major fine art collectives along with a host of independent artists will have their accessible, affordable work displayed and made available for purchase in a large gallery marquee.
KM ART is your chance to meet the artists in person, discuss their work, and agree on a price that’s fair to both buyer and seller.
This edition’s theme is Deep Roots, Bold Futures
The Spring/Summer market theme is inspired by the richness of South African heritage and the promise of what’s to come.
Deep Roots, Bold Futures is a celebration of where we’ve come from and where we’re going. It’s about honouring tradition while embracing innovation. It’s about Makers who craft with purpose, rooted in culture, yet fearless in their creativity.
From ancient techniques to future-focused design, this season invites you to explore the powerful tension between past and possibility through every handmade object, every conversation, and every experience at KAMERS/Makers
