What to expect from the 2025 Suzuki Sun City Ultra Triathlon
The Suzuki Ultra Triathlon is a proudly South African created and owned National Triathlon Series consisting of a swim, cycle and run, boxed into one thrilling race.
The Suzuki Sun City Ultra Triathlon features three race distances, catering for both experienced athletes and newcomers:
- Ultra Distance: 2km swim, 80km cycle, 18km run – designed for those looking to test their endurance and skill.
- Standard Triathlon: 1.5km Swim, 40km cycle, 10km run – for those wanting to mix speed and endurance.
- Sprint Distance: 600m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run – a fantastic introduction to the world of triathlon, perfect for beginners or those aiming to improve their speed.
With its warm climate, crystal-clear waters, and scenic cycling and running routes, Sun City provides the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable race experience. The event is open to all fitness levels, making it an excellent opportunity for new athletes to take on their first triathlon in a supportive and exhilarating environment.

How to enter
Note that all entries close on 10 April 2025, so be sure to secure your spot as soon as possible!
Entry includes a limited-edition event garment / item, a personalized race number, a goodie bag, and an ULTRA finishers medal. Entrants will pay an additional fee of between R55 and R167 for a TSA Day Licence.
