The Johannesburg Cap Classique, Champagne & Bubbles Festival is back in Sandton, returning bigger, better and bubblier than ever before. This year’s event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 May 2025 at the Inanda Polo Club, bringing elegant tastings, live entertainment, and delightful nibbles all weekend. Here’s what you need to know.
Two afternoons of tastings at the Johannesburg Cap Classique, Champagne & Bubbles Festival
Over both festival days, guests of the Johannesburg Cap Classique, Champagne & Bubbles Festival will get to indulge in tastings running from 11am to 2.30pm. Following the tastings, until doors close at 4pm, sales will be open for guests to purchase a bottle of their favourite wine or bubbly from the tasting, and live music will take over to end the two exquisite days of tastings on a high.

Some of the confirmed producers in attendance include Anthonij Rupert Wyne (L’Ormarins), Black Elephant Vintners, Boschendal, Carrol Boyes Wines, Graham Beck, Haute Cabrière (home of Pierre Jourdan), House of Azari, Khulu Fine Wine, Laborie Cap Classique, Nanola Wines, Quoin Rock, The House of BNG, Villiera Wines and WCellar.
Confirmed food stalls for the festival include Taco Burger, King Arabic, DimsumFest, Sumting Fresh, Christine’s Biltong and Holly’s Nougat. More producers and vendors will be added to the list of attendees before the event, offering the perfect variety to satisfy the palates of every guest.
Need to know before you go
The dress code for the event is Sophisticated Floral Chic, with prizes up for grabs for the best dressed.
Tickets include two options:
- General Admission tickets, which include festival entry, a crystal tasting glass, and ten tasting coupons.
- VIP tickets, which are limited to 300 people per day and allow access to a private entrance to the venue, a dedicated area complete with host and security guard, a welcome glass of Taittinger Champagne, a branded crystal glass, 20 tasting coupons, and a complimentary bottle of Cap Classique or Andiamo to take home.
