The Cape Town Craft Club’s Craft Nights bring creative people in the city together to create in a laid-back, fun, and judgment-free space. After building an amazing community in Cape Town, the Club is heading up to Joburg on Thursday, 15 May and Tuesday, 20 May to meet, inspire, and be inspired by a whole new batch of crafters. Here’s what you need to know.

What’s in store for the Joburg edition of Craft Nights?
The Craft Nights provide an opportunity to craft alongside others who love to create too, and everyone’s welcome — from seasoned makers to absolute beginners.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive a hot drink and three hours of uninterrupted craft time away from the distractions of home. Craft Night is a friendly, welcoming space and a great way to meet new people. So, feel free to bring a friend or two, but don’t be shy about coming alone.
Attendees are also welcome to bring snacks, food, or even a bottle of wine in the name of getting the creative juices flowing.

Need to know before you go
Craft Nights encourage getting creative on personal projects and are not guided crafting sessions. It’s essential that you bring your own embroidery kit, clay tools, sketchbook, Copic markers, knitting needles, crochet hook, or whatever you will need for whatever project you’re working on.
If you need help with a specific project, want to borrow a particular tool, or have any special requirements, email [email protected], and the team will do their best to assist you.
