Rising South African stand-up comedian Keketso Hutamo brings his sharp and relatable humour to the stage in two Joburg shows on 4 and 12 December 2026.
Keketso Hutamo’s Two-Stop Comedy Show
As a nominee for the Savanna Newcomer Award at the 12th annual Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards, Keketso Hutamo’s style has gained both recognition and plenty of laughs for his cultural commentary and perspective on everyday South African experiences. This offers audiences a fresh and relatable perspective on the everyday realities that many deal with.
Hailing from the East Rand, Hutamo spent his childhood watching comedy on TV, and it wasn’t long before he turned that passion and hobby into a full-fledged live performance career.
Having performed at the John Kani Theatre inside The Market Theatre and hosted shows at the South African State Theatre, Hutamo continues to add to his repertoire with a dedicated one-man show at Simas Funny Galore Comedy Club. He also leads another at Baze Lounge in the prestigious DaVinci Hotel in Sandton.
The two-stop run offers audiences an opportunity to experience Hutamo’s comedy up close as he explores the quirks, contradictions and shared experiences of South African life. With his distinctive perspective and relatable humour, he aims to turn familiar observations into moments of collective laughter.
