Breakout Events announces the return of global hitmaker Calum Scott to South African stages for his The Avenoir Tour in January 2026. In his biggest tour yet, the star will again reach Cape Town and Durban, with an additional show in Pretoria, marking his debut performance in the capital city.

New hits and old favourites
The Avenoir Tour is Calum Scott’s biggest tour to date which includes a run of UK and European shows across 24 cities later in 2025.
On Friday 23 May 2025, the star premiered his new single “Die For You” — a tender declaration of fiercely devoted love. The latest release from his upcoming third album Avenoir (due out on 12 September via Capitol Records), “Die For You” reaffirms the UK-based artist’s incredible talent for crafting the kind of songs that become the soundtrack to our lives’ most meaningful moments.
The third album is a follow-up to Calum’s acclaimed sophomore album Bridges – a 2022 release that delivered hits like “Rise,” “Biblical,” and “If You Ever Change Your Mind”. Avenoir marks the latest entry in a formidable catalog that also includes his gold-certified 2018 debut Only Human, featuring his 5X platinum smash “You Are The Reason” and iconic 3X platinum cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” which earned a Brit Award nomination in the category of Best British Single.
“Avenoir refers to how we move through life like a rower moves: always moving forward but facing backward, seeing where we’ve been, but not where we’re going,” says Calum. “The songs on this album speak to both regret and sorrow, and to undying love — a plea to live life to its fullest.”
“The concept of Avenoir challenges all of us to live in the present, serving as a constant reminder that it is the surprises in life and the not knowing that makes life terrifying, but also truly magical.”

Calum Scott’s much-anticipated return to Mzansi
Multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Calum Scott first toured Mzansi back in 2018 in support of his Only Human album, seeing thousands of local fans rushing to experience his first live performance in South Africa. In 2022 and 2023, Calum toured again across the country, cementing his love for SA with ongoing fan support.
“I remember my first time in South Africa, being blown away by the demand for tickets to my show – it made me feel so special! Every time that I have been back, I have felt the same love and excitement. Touring is my favourite part of my job but touring in places like South Africa is just a dream come true,” says Calum.
