The sixth edition of AERO South Africa is taking place from 10 to 12 June 2026 at Lanseria International Airport, once again offering a valuable platform for businesses and experts in the aviation industry to connect, engage, and grow. Here’s what you need to know.

What to expect from AERO South Africa 2026
This year, AERO South Africa welcomes over 60 confirmed exhibitors covering OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), maintenance providers, pilot training, and associations representing the broader general aviation sector. Visitors can expect to see various static aircraft displayed on site, a Park & Sell Area, demo flights, and workshops.
Over the three-day programme, various sessions are held addressing key topics relevant to the current general aviation environment and providing opportunities for knowledge sharing across the sector.
Business matchmaking sessions will also take place, giving exhibitors and trade visitors the chance to engage in meaningful business discussions.

During the event, visitors have the incredible opportunity to engage in stimulating conversations with renowned experts in the General Aviation industry. The daily schedule is packed with insightful sessions from exhibitors that delve into the latest innovations and explord various captivating topics.

Drone demos, also known as introductory or demonstration drone sessions, are short demonstrations used to familiarise individuals with drone technology, explore drone training opportunities, or showcase drone capabilities to potential clients or buyers. They provide a hands- on, immersive way to experience the drones, instructors, and facilities.

Catch spectacular fly-ins at the event
A “fly-in” refers to event guests attending AERO South Africa event by private aircraft. Fly-ins are mostly recreational gatherings of pilots and aviation enthusiasts sharing their love of flying and aircraft. Need to know before you go
Lanseria International Airport is easily accessible whether you’re flying in or driving. For fly-ins, the airport is ready to accommodate general aviation aircraft. Be sure to register your aircraft and arrival details for fly-ins in advance here.
For those driving, parking and a shuttle service will be available to take visitors directly to the showgrounds.
