DreamWorks ‘Find the Fun’ at Mall of Africa: Beloved Characters, Treature Hunts & Lots More

Joburgers are in for a treat as the DreamWorks Channel brings back its beloved Find the Fun wonderland to Mall of Africa from 11 to 24 December 2024. The centre court area just outside Spur will transform into a magical playground offering kids and parents a chance to immerse themselves in laughter, play, and memorable experiences.

Here’s all you can expect at this year’s ‘Find the Fun’ that will make your holiday season unforgettable:

Tons of play zones and adventures

The Find the Fun activation features a vibrant play area packed with activities designed to spark joy and creativity in young visitors. Highlights include:

Trolls Rainbow Slide: Slide into fun on this colourful creation
DreamWorks Character Memory Wall: Test your skills in an engaging memory game
Mini Trampolines and Soft Play Area: Jump, bounce, and let loose
Face Cutout Wall: Snap playful pictures with character-themed cutouts
Colouring Zone: Unleash your artistic side in this interactive corner

Kids who join the interactive games also stand a chance to win exciting spot prizes.

Meet and greet iconic animated characters

Adding to the magic, live appearances by DreamWorks’ most beloved characters will happen daily at 1pm. Families can look forward to meeting:

Poppy from Trolls
King Julien from Madagascar
Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse
Po from Kung Fu Panda
The legendary Puss in Boots

These meet-and-greet sessions are perfect for capturing unforgettable holiday moments with your little ones.

Try fun treasure hunts and DreamWorks Channel screenings

New this year, a treasure hunt trail will take participants on an exciting journey across the Mall of Africa, combining exploration and problem-solving fun. Additionally, a screening area will showcase favourite programming from the DreamWorks Channel, offering kids a cosy spot to relax and enjoy their beloved characters in action.
