Groves and Vineyards: Music, Food & Wine Festival in Johannesburg

The annual Groves and Vineyards music, food and wine festival in Johannesburg is back with a fresh new lineup, and this year they have lots more in store.

The event is set in the beautiful countryside surrounds of Casalinga Farm in Muldersdrift and promises a chilled day out for the entire family. Visitors will be treated to a curated selection of fine wines and artisanal foods, as well as live music from some of South Africa’s beloved bands. This festival series is the perfect opportunity for families to come together, support local wineries and enjoy some quality time out in nature. Here’s what you can look forward to.

Groves and Vineyards

Taste the latest from over 20 Cape wine farms

A stunning selection of 24 vineyards from the Cape Winelands is visiting to showcase their latest and popular varietals. Taste premium wines from Spier as well as their consciously made Good Natured collection (the Chenin and Chardonnay are tops!), and explore the premium offerings from La Motte and Vrede en Lust in the Franschhoek wine region. You cannot leave without trying  Hartenberg’s iconic buttery Chardonnay, and get to know everything about indie winemaker Silindile Zuma’s Nanola Wines. See the full lineup of wine farms showing at the festival here.

There will be food and drink vendors at the venue.
