Hyde Park Corner is kickstarting the festive season with a Christmas treat on Thursday, 13 November 2025. The shopping centre’s Tree Lighting Festival is set to bring an evening of music, festive magic and champagne to local shoppers. Here’s what you need to know.

Beautiful festive lights are set to brighten up Hyde Park’s Centre Court Corner this festive season, and the shopping centre is inviting the public to celebrate with a Tree Lighting Festival.
The public celebration is where audiences can enjoy performances from Swing City, featuring Graeme Watkins and Nathan Ro, The Soweto Gospel Choir, and the Mzansi Ballet, who perform enchanting festive scenes from The Nutcracker, Teddy Bear’s Picnic and ‘The Bare Necessities’ from The Jungle Book.
Families are also in for a treat, as Christmas Fairies will be distributing festive goodies to the kids throughout the evening.

Hyde Park Corner unveils the Moët & Chandon Personalisation Pop-Up
Happening alongside the light festival is the unveiling of the Moët & Chandon Personalisation Pop-Up, a milestone moment for the centre.
The sophisticated pop-up offers guests the opportunity to experience the renowned French brand in an intimate setting, with complimentary tastings of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial on the evening of the Tree Lighting Festival. Thereafter, the pop-up will run until early December.

The festive surprises don’t stop there. In partnership with the Teddy Bear Clinic, the shopping centre will also feature a giant illuminated teddy bear installation, offering interactive fun for the little ones and spreading warmth and kindness this festive.
Toy Kingdom also joins the festivities with a Build-A-Bear activation in Poetry Court from 13 November, coinciding with their new store opening. Visit the brand-new store and get the perfect kids’ Christmas gift!
