If you’re looking for new and insightful things to do in Pretoria, the K-Food Academy at the Korean Cultural Centre in Pretoria is running a Korean cooking course from 4 to 25 March 2026. In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn how to make some staple Korean dishes from scratch in a relaxed and social environment:
What to expect at the K-Food Academy Korean cooking course
Think classic Korean dishes, which are full of flavour and fresh ingredients. An expert instructor will run through some quick-cooking demonstrations and the format of the cooking lesson. From fresh vegetable dishes and kimchi to comforting stews, bubbling hot pots, and crispy Korean pancakes, this basic cooking course takes you through some of Korea’s most loved everyday foods.
Each week focuses on a different style of dish, the hands-on cooking techniques, and easy tips you can take home and try yourself. It’s a great way to explore Korean food culture while enjoying good food and meeting new people along the way.

- Week 4: Korean Pancakes and Fried Dishes

Please arrive before the scheduled start time of the class to settle in.
Cost: The course is FREE, but registration via this Google Form is required to confirm your space. Note that applicants MUST be able to attend all four sessions. All ingredients, tuition, and recipes are included so you can recreate the dishes at home. Just book, show up, and enjoy
