The Forum Company’s L’Antico Giardino in Lanseria launched its monthly Harvest Table series this September 2026 and returns for another delicious celebration of seasonal food and relaxed countryside dining on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

Set in the beautiful gardens of L’Antico Giardino, the Harvest Table offers the perfect excuse to escape the city and head for the countryside. Gather a group of friends, make the most of Jozi’s glorious weather and settle in for a leisurely afternoon of delicious food, good company and relaxed country charm in a truly fabulous setting.
With a different menu and seasonal inspiration each month, the series offers Johannesburg diners a lovely reason to escape to the countryside and rediscover the simple pleasure of a long lunch.
What’s in store for the October Harvest Table
October’s Harvest Table offers a generous spread of hot and cold dishes, celebrating the freshest seasonal ingredients and a wonderful variety of flavours. Served harvest-style, there’s something for everyone.
Highlights include homemade focaccia with sweet onions and wild mushrooms served with cultured butter; a refreshing pickled pear salad with wild rocket, cucumber ribbons and blue cheese; and a spiced Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella, chilli oil and fresh basil.
Also on offer is tender roasted whole beef sirloin with chimichurri, fire-roasted chicken with garlic and lemon and delicious seasonal sides such as charred Romanesco broccoli with toasted almonds, crispy corn ribs with chilli and lime, and roasted new potatoes with lemon, capers and brown butter.
For something sweet, the Black Forest-inspired chocolate brownies topped with white chocolate mousse and blackberry compote promise an indulgent finish to the afternoon.
