Here’s all you need to know:
What’s new for the 2024 season of Momo’s Magical Adventure?
This year’s story follows Momo and her loyal friend, Mack the Meerkat, on a heartwarming adventure that transcends cityscapes, underwater realms, and even outer space! The tale begins under the sparkling highveld night sky before plunging into the depths of the luminous sea, where Momo encounters new magical creatures.
Momo journeys to the cosmos for an awe-inspiring encounter with Bertie-Stargazer, a celestial unicorn, and Polly, the Northern Star who has fallen from the sky. Through these adventures, Momo discovers wonder, friendship, and the joy of exploring new realms.
Who stars in this charming family theatre?
Award-winning performer Tebogo Molepo reprises her role as Momo, joined by a dynamic new cast. Together, they bring this magical production to life with immersive physical performance, dance, music, and stunning visuals. As always, Momo’s Magical Adventure captures the spirit of South African holidays with its vibrant and imaginative storytelling.
Who’s behind the magic?
This year’s production is guided by a visionary team led by producer Lyall Ramsden. Director Kirsten Harris, choreographer Owen Lonzar, and musical composer James Bassingthwaighte combine their talents with costume and puppet designer Trudie Ströh, set designer Nadine Minnaar, production designer Louis Minnaar, and lighting designer Vincent van Niekerk.
Each element has been crafted to transport audiences into a world of wonder, making it a memorable experience for families.
