Soweto in Colours Countdown

The Soweto In Colours Countdown is an annual end-of-year entertainment event created to provide a safe, inclusive space for the Soweto community to celebrate the close of the year and welcome the new one with family and friends.

The 15th edition of the festival takes place on 31 December 2026 at the iconic Soweto Theatre, running from 6pm. You can look forward to an authentic Soweto nightlife and lifestyle experience, powered by a high-energy line-up of 11 of Soweto’s hottest DJs and four MCs. The night also features a live countdown broadcast, a fireworks display and lifestyle exhibitions. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue. Strictly no under-18s.
