Park Acoustics is back and the show goes on for another great lineup on the lawns of Voortrekker Monument.
Park Acoustics is a monthly outdoor live music concert that takes place in the unique venue that is Fort Schanskop, Pretoria. On the first Sunday of each month hundreds of people gather at the foot of Schanskop hill, ready to embark on the 5 minute bus trip to the top. This is their first show in a while.
This event sees Record of the Year Winner, Matthew Mole, Pretoria boys, December streets, the man who stole our hearts playing the drums, Yo Grapes, Aya Nixon, Christopher Theron and SA’s funniest MC, and King Nqoba performing live.
The event offers bars, food stalls, toilets, green grass to sit on, a 360° view of Pretoria, nature trails for hiking and mountain biking, and of course the Voortrekker Monument (entrance paid separately).
No children between the ages of 13-17 are allowed at the event. Proof of identification required, no copies, photos or temporary documents. Also, no glass is permitted in the festival area. Festival-goers need to buy cans or decant in plastic bottles.
There is an R15 fee per vehicle to be paid at the main entrance to the nature reserve. Only 500 tickets are on sale.
