Rocking the Vaal is a spectacular annual event that blends great food, amazing music, and giving back to the community.
“Building on the momentum of last year’s achievements, we’re incredibly excited about what Rocking the Vaal 2026 represents,” said Marinda Human, marketing manager at Emerald Resort & Casino.
“The scale of the planned Guinness World Record attempts and the level of community participation continue to elevate this festival into something truly special for the Vaal and the country.”
This year, the festival is going big with a stacked lineup, delicious food stalls, and so much more entertainment spread through the entire day. A general access ticket allows attendees to enjoy a delicious meal and access to a fantastic music show. Plus, you earn automatic entry to the festival’s exciting lucky draws.
Each year, the festival attempts to break a new Guinness World Record, and this year their looking to break the records for:
- The Largest Serving of Pancakes, targeting 30,000 portions
- The Largest Chilli Con Carne Serving, with a planned 3 000 kg prepared on site
Beyond providing entertainment, Rocking the Vaal is all about giving back, with proceeds from the event being distributed among charity/aid organisations in the Vaal area.
