The 8-week concept runs online and in-store at Joburg’s shopping destination, and highlights the movers and shakers of these industries, blending storytelling with the world-class brands we know and love, and the faces behind them. Here’s all you need to know.
How the Sandton City NEXT Icons of Style campaign works
Next Icons of Style is an opportunity to find out more about the incredible stories behind top local and international labels, shop special in-store offers, and explore some of the centre’s iconic brand experiences.
Each of the participating labels will enjoy a focused spotlight for one week where shoppers can get immersed through a curated customer journey.
Featured brands include a vibrant mix such as IWC Schaffhausen known for their refined craftsmanship of elegant timepieces, the rich heritage of leather bags and accessories at Bally, and the inspiring story of artisanal denim looks made right here in Joburg by TSHEPO. Also on the cards are the athleisure fits from New Balance, Under Armour Icon Brand House and many more.

As part of the campaign, many of the participating stores are showcasing exclusive offers, only available at Sandton City during the promotional period.
At the NARS concept store, shoppers who spend R1800 or more will receive a free gift valued at R700 while stocks last. ARC store is spoiling shoppers with a complimentary FENTY makeup bag when they purchase any 2 FENTY products, a lip or gloss while stocks last.

MAXHOSA’s MXS KULTURE FESTIVAL happening on 15 March 2025 is shaping up to be one of Joburg’s biggest fashion events. This capsule event celebrates heritage and culture through the label’s lens with music and fashion as the medium.
