Spend your spring and summer Sundays indulging under the sun

Sunday Society Picnics are the perfect, easy-going outing during the spring and summer seasons in Joburg. Sip your welcome glass of Graham Beck bubbly, snack on the goodies in the gourmet baskets, and fully indulge with Hot Mains and Harvest Table selections.

In addition to the welcome glass, each pair receives their own bottle of champagne to sip on for the entirety of the experience. If guests would like to order more drinks, including non-alcoholic options, they can do so on their own account.

Each picnic basket comes pre-packed with the treats featured in the basket menu. For mains and harvest table dishes, guests can dish up for themselves from a buffet-style setup. All of this is inclusive of the ticket price.

Hot Mains menu

On the summer menu, the Hot Mains selection include beef kebabs with chimichurri, panko prawns with coconut aioli, seared lasagne with chicken and butternut, pork loin piccata with sauce vierge, and cheese arancini.

Harvest Table menu

On the Harvest Table menu, guests are treated to a selection of breads and dips; flat bread with bread sticks; hummus with tzatziki, babaganoush and garlic oil; herby potato salad; pasta salad; traditional Greek salad; and a cheese board with crackers and preserves.

Basket menu

The summer basket snacks include popcorn, house-made potato crisps, churros, ginger cheesecake, and red-velvet opera cake.
