Hazel Food Market

Arguably Pretoria’s oldest farmer’s market, Hazel Food Market has been serving everything from freshly baked bread to organic vegetables, olives, wine and much more since 2007.

You’ll also find speciality treats from many different countries like Dutch croquettes, Indian food, Polish smoked meat and cakes, Greek products, Italian foods and many others. 

The market aims to give Pretorians a place to purchase fresh produce straight from the producer or grower. The market is open every Saturday and makes for a convenient place to meet with friends – make a point of meeting at the communal sitting area and start the day off with a cup of coffee and a delicious cupcake.

Market @TheSheds is Pretoria’s hippest inner city market, hosted at 012central, the trendy, multi-space precinct development in the CBD. The vibe here has a laid-back African urban feel. Pretoria’s Vintage & Decor Show is known for their great events set in a family-friendly atmosphere. This popular market and shopping emporium features more than 140 stallholders selling handpicked collectables at good prices. Stallholders are carefully handpicked by the team so that quality is ensured and prices are kept reasonably low. 

Also on offer is a gorgeous collection of artisanal food stalls, bakeries, ice cream trucks, and on-site restaurants. Kids can run free in the outdoor space, and bubbly and oysters are served on the deck underneath the tent. Parking is free and the event is wheelchair and pet-friendly.
