This spring, take a moment to smell the flowers at Hadeco’s Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival. On 26 and 27 September 2026, visitors get to experience sweeping fields filled with beauty and colour as they get closer to nature.

A milestone celebration of nature
The 2026 edition of Petals with Purpose celebrates 80 Years of Hadeco’s continued commitment to growing flower bulbs in South Africa.
Visitors get to walk through curated bloom fields, enjoy live music and celebrate the start of spring surrounded by nature.

What’s in store for the Petals with Purpose Spring Festival
Expect a beautiful range of summer flower bulbs and gardening accessories to shop and take home, colour-filled fields of ranunculus, Sparaxis, Ixia and more, a scenic flower picking experience, picnicking and expert talks on gardening, flower arranging and bulb growing.
When the hunger calls, visitors can fill their stomachs at any of the food vendors that are available on site. Picnic blankets and camping chairs are also welcome.
Visitors will also be contributing to a good cause by attending the festival, with R30 from every ticket being donated to Hopelands Village, The Gateway School, Emergency Control SA and Four Paws.
Please note that while the venue is largely wheelchair-friendly, the natural terrain across the farm may make certain areas less accessible to navigate. The friendly team dressed in Hadeco shirts are happy to be of assistance.
