The global Irish dance sensation, Riverdance, celebrate their 30-year anniversary with a global tour of their latest production, Riverdance 30 – The New Generation, featuring stops right here in Mzansi.
From 9 to 11 April 2027, Gauteng Riverdance fans get to witness as a new generation of dancers – none of whom were born 30 years ago – present a rejuvenation of the much-loved original show.
Commemorating three decades of Irish fusion dance
Riverdance 30 – The New Generation introduces a new team of dancers performing globally for the very first time and is set to feature new innovative choreography and costumes, state of the art lighting, professional projection and motion graphics.
Since Riverdance first emerged onto the world stage, its fusion of Irish and international dance and music has captured the hearts of millions worldwide. The Grammy award-winning music and the infectious energy of its mesmerising choreography and breathtaking performances have left audiences in awe and established Riverdance as a global cultural sensation.
