Sankayi Jazz Series & DJ Bob Present: The Afrikan Rekord
The Sankayi Saturday Sessions launch this July, and an exciting feature of the sessions is The Afrikan Rekord, a recurring vinyl experience curated by DJ Bob and friends, celebrating the rich musical heritage of Africa and its diaspora.
Blending jazz, funk, soul, Afrobeat, disco, Latin grooves and Outernational sounds, each session takes guests on a carefully curated musical journey played entirely on vinyl.
The Afrikan Rekord transforms Saturday evenings into a space for conversation, discovery and great music. Guests are invited to settle in, enjoy dinner, share a bottle of wine and experience an eclectic soundtrack that celebrates the depth and diversity of African and global musical culture.
