This popular plant event in Johannesburg promises a range of displays, interesting workshops, and demonstrations. Shoppers have the rare opportunity to browse and buy dazzling blooms and blossoms as well as striking exotic varieties from a selection of suppliers.
The workshops and demonstrations cover a variety of topics, from how to care for your newly purchased plant to propagation techniques and styling secrets. Look out for some unique plant accessories and décor too and be sure to make some time to chat with vendors and get care instructions and nifty tips before taking home your plant babies.

What’s new at the plant show?
The Houghton Bonsai and Succulent Show is taking things up a notch this 2025 with some exciting new additions to their weekend programme.
Look forward to beautiful live grand piano concert sessions to set the mood as you browse through unique plant finds. Plus, Tommy Ramiah, The Bonsai Guru, will be in the PNA Court offering complimentary diagnoses for your sick trees along with pruning and repotting services.
Also new is the addition of artisanal deli stalls to keep the hunger pangs away, allowing you to shop even longer. Parents can feel free to bring the young ones along too, with a new kids play area promising educational entertainment and hands-on fun for budding plant enthusiasts.
