All you need to know about this military air show in Pretoria
If you’re keen on aircraft or looking to get an idea of the national air defence, the South African Air Force Museum event is one not to be missed.
“Since we were forced into hiatus by Covid, we are back with a bang,” says General Matanda. “The annual SAAF Museum Air Show plays a vital role in generating funds to keep SAAF Museum aircraft flying, as it is the Museum’s primary revenue source. It also preserves static aircraft for future generations.”
This action-packed airshow offers breathtaking aerial performances, static displays of historic and modern aircraft, interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and food stalls serving local cuisine. There will also be a large display of military hardware, such as air surveillance radars, 35 mm anti-aircraft guns, and vehicles.
Perfect for aviation enthusiasts and families, meet skilled pilots, explore aircraft that shaped our skies, and enjoy a full day of excitement and learning.
