A SPECIAL MARKET AND MUSIC AT JAMES HALL MUSEUM OF TRANSPORT
As part of International Museum Week, the James Hall Museum of Transport is running Creative Native Vintage Motor Show and Picnic on Saturday. This cultural event is a curated outdoor vintage motor show with private collections, artefacts, and memorabilia in a curated exhibition of both classic and vintage vehicles. A vintage craft market, live music entertainment and, to keep up with the theme of the day, vintage food trucks will be selling food and refreshments to visitors. JOBURG’S LARGEST ART FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND ONLY
The largest on-the-ground art festival in Johannesburg with almost 100 artists participating is taking place across the city. Open Studios Joburg highlights seven art buildings, across the historical CBD and beyond, where visitors are invited to meet the artists, interact with the works, and enjoy a programme of exhibitions, walkabouts, performances, and design. The sites are August House, Bag Factory Artists’ Studios, Ellis House, Living Artists Emporium, LAPA at Breezeblock, Transwerke Studios, and Victoria Yards. The studios will be linked via a free shuttle service that will allow visitors to safely explore the city.
