Menlo Vinyl Record Fair at Capital Craft has a hefty library of pre-loved music that has something for everyone. Buyers can leaf through a limited edition release from bygone local bands or acts, a broad range of genres, and if lady luck is on your side, score a rare first press or secure those one-off pieces for expanding your record collection.
The staff are passionate and have expert knowledge of all things music. There’s also a listening station to explore the releases before purchase.
The market is also a great platform for those looking to sell their collection to like-minded fans.

EXPLORE THE LATEST DECOR, DESIGN, AND ART TRENDS AT DESIGN JOBURG COLLECTIVE 2021
Design Joburg Collective is to decor and design what fashion week is to the fashion industry. A not-to-be-missed mix of new local and international decor and homeware collections, talks, and industry icons right in the heart of Joburg’s trendy Kramerville Design District.
This suburb-sized showcase running from 3 to 5 June is a mix of both outdoor and indoor attractions shown at galleries, and showrooms. You can look forward to over 150 talented labels in lighting, decorative accessories, fabrics and wallpaper, kitchens and bathrooms, contract furniture, interior architecture, flooring, hardware, audio and visual, light industrial, and more.
Select showrooms are also be hosting talks with strong voices in the creative community. Mpho Vackier from the Urbanative touches on the launch of the her latest furniture and accessories line, while Furniturespot’s Wouter van Bockel gives guests an intro into his new concept homeware store. A few other talks are also on the cards.
Various exhibits by leading local and international artists including outdoor sculpture work from James Delaney, various work by multidisciplinary artist Keneilwe Mothoa and an exhibition by French artist Catherine Timotei.
Corlien Morris from Wine Menu has been connecting serious wine lovers with new favourites. Morris is also showcasing her must-try wines with a food pairing on all three days of the showcase, while Matt from TriBeCa Coffee a coffee demo to master at home.

A SAFE AND SOCIAL NIGHT TRAIL RUN OR MTB CYCLING IN MULDERSDRIFT
The Cradle Moon Night Duel is a race where keen mountain bikers and trail runners put their fitness levels to the test and duel it out. Participants will compete against each other to see who is the quickest over the three different route options.
Both the running and cycling race starts and finish at the same area but will compete on separate routes around Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge in Muldersdrift.
The experience wraps up at night where you’d be able to experience the rare African Bush sounds and wildlife in this popular nature reserve at night. Trail run distances range from 5km, 10km, and 15km, while mountain bike races kicks off at 10km, 17km or 25km.
Cradle Moon is a 35-minute drive from both Sandton and Pretoria in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. The property is on the banks of Lake Heritage and forms part of the Cradle Moon Conservancy.

KIDS WILL LOVE JOBURG’S RESCUE DONKEY SANCTUARY
The Rest Ur Ass Donkey Sanctuary is a haven for up to 93 loving donkeys, most of which have been rescued from illegal skin trade and slaughter.
Visitors to the sanctuary are able to interact with these gentle, often underestimated creatures. You can spend time with the donkeys and pet, brush or even feed them healthy donkey treats available for purchase from the sanctuary.
