Cyra’s Women’s Month Initiative

This August, Cyra will donate 10% of all restaurant turnover to the NPO Women For Change– alongside launching a limited winter tasting menu available almost exclusively for the month.

The initiative brings together one of Johannesburg’s leading dining destinations with a leading South African cause, inviting guests to celebrate Women’s Month in true culinary style, while also supporting the vital work of Women For Change.

At the centre of the initiative is Cyra’s new winter tasting menu, available throughout the month, which reflects Chef Philip’s instinct for finding elegance in familiarity as the menu reimagines recognisable ingredients through unexpected combinations.

Winter Tasting Menu

Available as a six-course tasting menu, diners can anticipate dishes such as squid with leek, cannellini beans and chorizo, and beef fillet with cauliflower and romesco, finished with the savoury depth of marmite – before ending on a dessert of banana, Bumbu rum, miso and tonka.

With optional wine pairings, each course has been thoughtfully designed to unfold naturally into the next.

Cost: R1350pp for a seven-course menu, or R2250pp for the seven-course menu with a wine pairing
