Conceived as the hotel’s “living room”, the space shifts effortlessly throughout the day. Mornings lend themselves to quiet meetings over coffee and patisserie, while afternoons ease into casual dining on the veranda. By evening, it takes on a softer energy, with a refined bar programme and cocktails served against a backdrop of city lights.

The design subtly references Johannesburg’s mining heritage through metallic finishes, natural stone and layered textures, grounding the space in its surroundings while maintaining a contemporary edge.
The 40 seater space remains intimate yet versatile, equally suited to business catch-ups, celebratory lunches or an unhurried drink at sunset. It’s a polished but relaxed addition to the city’s dining landscape, and one that quietly positions the Westcliff as more than a place to stay, but a leisure destination in its own right.
