The Springboks’ rugby season may be well underway, but the Independent School’s Rugby Festival at St David’s Marist Inanda is turning our attention to the young rising stars in rugby. From 27 June to 1 July 2026, see talented school-going rugby players go head-to-head in an action-packed schedule filled with friendly competition and fierce spirit.
Who’s competing in the Rugby Festival 2026
St David’s Marist Inanda is welcoming 16 High Schools and 10 Prep Schools from across South Africa, as well as the visiting Eton College from the UK to the Rugby Festival 2026.
Some notable participating schools include Cornwall Hill College, St Alban’s, St John’s and St Andrew’s. Matches are divided between the U13, U14, U15 and Open categories.
Entertainment
In between the rugby action, guests can grab a bite at the dedicated food court, purchase something new at the retail area and get a few drinks and a great vibe at the beer tent. Live entertainment will also be available throughout the rugby festival.
