The Magalies Mayhem Obstacle Race brings a thrilling course race packed with mud, climbing, crawling, and adventure to the Van Gaalen Cheese Farm on Saturday, 18 October 2025. Here’s what you need to know.

With routes for all levels, the Magalies Mayhem Obstacle Race offers a day of fun, fitness, and family-friendly chaos.
The older participants can choose from a 5km course with 10 obstacles or a 10km course with 15 obstacles, whilst the kids get their very own 500m kiddies course. The event also supports team entries for certain classes, but teams must consist of four participants per team.
Once all courses are complete, there will be a prize giving for the top finishers. After the prize giving, participants can unwind with food and music in the Chill Zone.
How to enter the Magalies Mayhem Obstacle Race
Cost: R600pp for the 10km course; R400pp for the 5km course (solo and team entries); R200pp for the kiddies course. Book online
When: Saturday, 18 October 2025 from 6am to 4pm | Registration opens at 6am. 10km race starts at 8am. 5km race starts at 8.30am
