There’s never a bad time to catch something new in cinemas. Whether it’s a blockbuster hit or an undiscovered indie flick, the ritual of going to the movies for, buying a popcorn and a slushie and seeing something on the big screen never gets old.

Sunny Dancer
Sunny Dancer follows a 17-year-old named Ivy (Bella Ramsey, Game of Thrones and The Last of Us), who after beating cancer, is sent by her well-intentioned parents to a summer camp for kids affected by cancer, where she has a hard time adjusting to the rules.
The film is a must-watch by rising directorial talent George Jaques (Black Dog). Sunny Dancer has already earned the Emden Film Award for Best Film as well as the Wolfgang Peterson Prize for Best Film along with more nominations.

One Night Only
In this romantic comedy set in a reality where single individuals are only allowed to be intimate on one day of the year, two singles, Owen (Callum Turner) and Allie (Monica Barbaro), both looking for something real and meaningful, happen to meet on that one night of the year, which leads to a day of complications and missteps.

Spa Weekend
If you loved Bad Moms and The Hangover, Spa Weekend might be the movie for you. It’s a hilarious and heartfelt comedy about four lifelong friends (Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau, Anna Faris) who realise that somewhere between careers, relationships, families and everyday responsibilities, they have forgotten how to take care of themselves and each other.
Burned out and overdue for a break, the women escape to a luxury spa retreat for what turns out to be an unforgettable weekend dedicated to fun, laughter and a lot of really bad decisions.

Mutiny
Action superstar Jason Statham returns to the screen with Mutiny, a film he both stars in and helped produce.
After witnessing his billionaire boss’ murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Jason Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.
When: Mutiny opens in theatres on 21 August 2026

Insidious: Out of the Further
The iconic ‘Insidious’ horror franchise brings its lates offering. In Insidious: Out of the Further, Gemma, a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in, discovers she can travel into The Further: a purgatorial realm of lost souls.
While there, she discovers that she possesses an ability to bring what lives there back to the real world, making for terrifying consequences.

The Dog Stars
The Dog Stars is an action/sci-fi film featuring an all-star cast of actors including Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney and Benedict Wong.
After the world’s population has been ravaged by a pandemic, a man lives a lonesome existence in a Colorado airplane hangar with his dog and a dour gunman he has befriended. When a mysterious transmission comes through on the radio while he’s flying his old Cessna, it sparks a hunt for the provenance of the sound and other possible survivors.

Fall 2: Deadpoint
From the producers of the hit 2026 horror, Obsession, comes Fall 2: Deadpoint, a thrilling sequel to the unexpected 2022 hit, Fall, which followed best friends Becky and Shiloh aka Hunter who found themselves stuck at the top of a 2000-foot TV tower after a high-rise climb gone-wrong.
Overwhelmed by her sister Hunter’s death, Jax connects with Luce, Hunter’s fearless friend. To heal, they attempt the infamous plank walk of Mount Kwan in Thailand. After a sudden rockslide leaves them stranded on a fragile plank 3000 feet in the air, Jax must confront her deepest fears and fight for survival to find closure.

By Any Means
A hardened mafia hitman (Mark Wahlberg) and a young Black FBI agent (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Watchmen / Aquaman) are forced into an uneasy alliance to track down those responsible for the killing of civil rights leaders. During their volatile partnership, they uncover a conspiracy that tests the limits of justice, loyalty and survival.
