Headlining this year’s Mom’s Day Out is Ross Learmonth, known for his powerful vocals and stage presence. Picnics can be pre-ordered in advance and are sold separately from entry tickets to Mom’s Day Out. Expect a generous gourmet spread featuring smoked salmon and cream cheese brioche, cheese straws with mushroom dip, teriyaki beef kebabs with pickled baby onions and roast peppers, lamb bobotie tartlets, sweet and sour roasted chicken, Zulu sushi, camembert and fig spring rolls, and a selection of local cheeses with preserves and crackers.

For dessert, indulge in red velvet cake, caramel truffles, chocolate-dipped strawberries and crème brûlée tart. Vegan and vegetarian options are available, along with special picnic rates for kids.
